坂宇場花祭りは、

人々の魂や身体が最も衰える冬至の時季に

神仏を舞庭に呼び降ろし、

１年を経て汚れ衰えた身魂を祓い清めていただき、

新しい自己に生まれ変わる「生まれ清まり」の祭りです。

さまざまな舞が夜を徹して行われます。

Toyone Hana Matsuri is a festival of rebirth

and purification.

Shinto gods and Buddha are called down to

the dance garden during the winter solstice to

purify souls and bodies of the people

when they are most weakened in the year.

Various dances are performed throughout the night.
